The Administrative Core uses deliberate strategic planning, efficient management, and data-driven approaches to ensure the Collaborative reaches its overall goals and successfully completes the aims of for Cores and research projects.
Biospecimen and Clinical Data Core
The Biospecimen and Clinical Data Core (BCDC) will leverage clinical, genetic, socioeconomic, and environmental data across participating institutions to facilitate disparities research and drive the development of new analytical methods to better account for disease outcomes across diverse populations.
The Consortium Core engages and integrates community and academic partners with interest in health equity and/or precision medicine into the center’s activities.
The Implementation Core will foster the dissemination and implementation of precision medicine for racial and ethnic minorities while meeting the needs and preferences of minority communities
Training and Mentoring Core
The overall goal of the Training and Mentoring Core is to fill the cross-training gap between genomics research and health disparities research.
